I have never tasted your lips on mine
I have never felt your heart beat, beat on my cheek
I have never told you that I will be there through thick and thin
I have never held you in my arms
I have never kissed you just because
I have never missed you to the point of heartache
I have never laughed with you
I have never cried with you
I have never smiled so much that my cheeks hurt, when you walked through the door
I have never told you that I love you
But I would like to

Violence And Terror
Violence and terror
Let’s mix it up
You see yourself as the best
Well people see you as the worst
You think your tuff
But your not
If you knew if you only knew
Your world would fall apart
There’s a secret that lies deep within me
If you ever knew
You would become weak
And fall apart
But you would get back up
And bully me all over again
This time harder
Because someone you hate
Has defeated you
I didn’t choose to defeat you
It was just a simple state of mind
To send you some sort of message
Saying you’re not better than any of us
Blood and anger
Let’s mix it up
If you want to hurt me
Go ahead no ones stopping you
No one told you not to drive
Your strong fist with such force
Into my weakened stomach
Let’s mix it up
You see yourself as the best
Well people see you as the worst
You think your tuff
But your not
If you knew if you only knew
Your world would fall apart
There’s a secret that lies deep within me
If you ever knew

The Beginning Of The End
The old clock on the wall no longer tells time
The light bulb to your flashlight has gone out
The old lighthouse's light doesn't shine bright
The light bulb to your flashlight has gone out
The moon doesn't fight
Its way out (from) behind the thick clouds
The sun doesn’t glisten on the stilled water
The music doesn’t play anymore
The voice in your head is silent
Silence is the only thing you can hear
Silence becomes the world
Knowing it will kill
Knowing it may save lives
Either way
Silence becomes the nights
Silence becomes the days
The sirens in the distance
Become faint
No longer coming to get you
What will become of this?
When your light goes out
The secret life that you’re after
Is nothing
This is the beginning of the end
Welcome to the world of silence
The light bulb to your flashlight has gone out
The old lighthouse's light doesn't shine bright
The light bulb to your flashlight has gone out
The moon doesn't fight
Its way out (from) behind the thick clouds

He Won't Be Your Killer
The streets are empty
As I walk for miles
Upon there
Broken surface
Dew falling
Softly
Not a care in the world
Your hand in mine
Guiding me somewhere
Somewhere you think is beautiful
Its nearly twilight
Still you hold on to me
Not letting go
You whisper soft
Kind words of love
In my ear
Fear of separation
Fills my body
My heart is now yours
Please don’t take him away from me
For our love is strong
There is no need to take his life
For your stupid operation
I will not let go
Nor will he
You are blind to love
And you steal souls
Please find someone else
To kill for you
As I walk for miles
Upon there
Broken surface
Dew falling
Softly
Not a care in the world
Your hand in mine
Guiding me somewhere
Somewhere you think is beautiful
Its nearly twilight
Still you hold on to me
Not letting go
You whisper soft
Kind words of love

Empty Pages
Sitting here
Page empty
That’s your fault
I can’t think nor sleep
Nor write
I don’t want you
To leave
But you left anyways
Broken dreams
Shattered
You said it was your way
To show you were stronger
Your big blue eyes
Map out in my head
The pen doesn’t move
The
Occasional drops of ink
Fall
In perfect circles
On the empty page
That I blame you for
My body craves for your voice
Your touch
Your laugh
Your tears
That I softly kiss away
Perhaps you will forget me
You told me you never would
I didn’t believe you
But I wish I could
Page empty
That’s your fault

Love, Passion and Lighting Bolts
Don’t let him go
The determination in his touch
Shows eternal love
The sun appears
Pushing the fog away
His voice never lacks a thing
The fading glow of existence
Flashes in front of your tired eyes
The moonlight is forbidden
The sweet taste of your lips on mine
Its taste is defining
It impacts slowly and deeply
The exit is open but he doesn’t take it
The feeling of his body full of life
In the room with me makes my head spin
I open my eyes
To find yours
Staring into mine with love and passion
The pleasure of the feeling
Overflows my body
Like a lighting bolt of happiness
It wasn’t just a kiss
It was your lips on mine
It’s that moment that means the most
It’s that moment where you assure me you’re here to stay
With just one single kiss
Don’t let him go
The determination in his touch
Shows eternal love
The determination in his touch
Shows eternal love
The sun appears
Pushing the fog away
His voice never lacks a thing
The fading glow of existence

The Figure In The Hallways
She was nothing
But a figure in the hallways
No where to be
No where she would be expected
She smiled at him every day
But he never saw her
He didn’t even know
She was in all of his classes
She went to school
Then home
Wrote the most beautiful poetry
About this guy she smiled at everyday
How he always seemed to look over or through her
How beautiful she thought he was
How when he walked into a room
The whole room would light up in his presence
When he laughed
It always made someone else laugh
His eyes full of life
Full of curiosity
He never missed a day of school
Was always there for his friends
She never seemed upset
When he didn’t see her
She wasn’t mad at him
She knew she was invisible
She knew she wasn’t cool like him
Nor had the amount of friends he did
She still smiled to him each day
Graduation came
She knew she would never see him again
She would miss his face
In the hallways always smiling
As she stood up on the platform
To except her scroll
She smiled
Walked off the stage
And never looked back
She was soon to be off to college
She got into Harvard, Berkley, Stanford, Yale and Princeton
But she choose to go to a small writing school in Maine
She published her book of poetry about this guy she always smiled at
It sold out the second day of being on the shelves all over the world
She kept it anonymous
People wanted so badly to know who she was
People sent letters
People made videos
Hoping that they could meet her
One day
For she was there inspiration
There idol
They saw her poetry
Really they were seeing her
For once in her life
She felt like people saw her
For who she was
And not for what she wasn’t
People wanted to know
Who she was writing about
Who this man was that she talked about
So beautifully
In every one of her poems
But she wouldn’t tell nor come out and tell them whom she was
For she didn’t want to change the image of whom he was in her mind
She was afraid that if she said it was him
She wouldn’t remember him as the man she saw in the hallways
Each day
Smiling
She wrote the most beautiful poetry
About this guy she smiled at everyday

How beautiful she thought he was

Shadow Park
My shadow dances with me
While I dance alone
It goes where I go
I go where it goes
My shadow cries with me
While I cry alone
My shadow laughs with me
While I laugh alone
My shadow runs with me
While I run alone
Never alone
Either of us
The feeling of loneliness haunts us
As we walk in the shadow park
The moment is right
For now and forever
Just my shadow and I
Walking alone in the shadow park
My shadow fears my fears with me
While I fear my fears alone
My shadow dreams with me
While I dream alone
My shadow screams with me
While I scream alone
Just us two
Friends forever
The moment is just right
For now
But I have fallen in love with you
This is my job
I need to love by myself
Not with my shadow
I love you
Just me, all of me
My shadow walks with me
While I walk with you
While I dance alone
It goes where I go
I go where it goes
My shadow cries with me
While I cry alone
My shadow laughs with me
While I laugh alone
My shadow runs with me
While I run alone
Never alone
Either of us
The feeling of loneliness haunts us

Postcard
A square with a picture
That tells a story
Or secret
Crying out
Wanting the world to notice
That’s why
It arrives
Without an envelope
Trying to tell the truth
Or a lie
Telling a love story
Telling a story of a broken heart
Or a story of sadness
Or agony
A family that was once perfect
But now is ruined
Because of that affair
You never know where it has led the sender
Nor you will never know where it will lead you
Unless you take a chance
To see where it may lead
In that picture
That tells a story
Of either truth or lies
You decide
Take a trip
It’s now up to you
To send the next postcard
That tells a story
Or secret
Crying out
Wanting the world to notice
That’s why
It arrives
Without an envelope
Trying to tell the truth
Or a lie
Telling a love story
Telling a story of a broken heart
Or a story of sadness
Or agony
A family that was once perfect
But now is ruined
Because of that affair
You never know where it has led the sender
Nor you will never know where it will lead you
Unless you take a chance

Simple Design
Exhaustion overflows the state of mind
Spinning out of control
Not knowing where to stop
Hating
Looking you in the eyes
Makes me sick
The leaves outside are restless
Just like my mind
My thoughts, my dreams
Don’t make sense
Being sad is a curse
Being happy makes you amazing
Being happy makes you perfect
Being sad makes you evil and unbalanced
The simple design of my mind
You will never know
Because it doesn't allow perfection
And all you are is perfect
So you will never know the simple design
Of my mind that holds
The answer to your investigation
That is top secret
Just like my design
I’m sorry you have no lead
You will just have to leave
Spinning out of control
Not knowing where to stop
Hating
Looking you in the eyes
Makes me sick
The leaves outside are restless
Just like my mind
My thoughts, my dreams
Don’t make sense
Being sad is a curse
Being happy makes you amazing
Being happy makes you perfect
Being sad makes you evil and unbalanced
The simple design of my mind
You will never know
Because it doesn't allow perfection
And all you are is perfect
So you will never know the simple design
Of my mind that holds
The answer to your investigation
That is top secret
Just like my design
I’m sorry you have no lead
You will just have to leave

To Be Known
Your divine elegance in your face’s expressions
Lays deep within me
Your unknown touch
Your unknown ways
Haunt me with each breath I take
I can’t help but love you
With each step I take
You don’t even know me
But I want to know you
You don’t know my laugh
But I want to laugh with you
You don’t know my smile
But I want to smile with you
Because your smile makes me feel alive
Your sweet face
Your sweet voice
You and I are the unknown
Hopefully for now
But I may just have to dream
Our secret love affair
Maybe you will fall in love with me
As I have with you
Lays deep within me
Your unknown touch
Your unknown ways
Haunt me with each breath I take
I can’t help but love you
With each step I take
You don’t even know me
But I want to know you
You don’t know my laugh
But I want to laugh with you
You don’t know my smile
But I want to smile with you
Because your smile makes me feel alive
Your sweet face
Your sweet voice
You and I are the unknown
Hopefully for now
But I may just have to dream
Our secret love affair
Maybe you will fall in love with me
As I have with you
The Soldier In My Heart
The blood of a soldier
Seeks its journey
Through the crakes
Of the rough and dry land
Knowing it will be lost
Forever
The lost memory
Of those who walked there
With there combat boots
Digging into the ground
Making a shoe print
Not just any shoe print
But the one that got them killed
Because of the pointless trap
We should have seen
The war has just begun
The timeless beat
Of the weapons rounds
Ring in your ears
Making you double over in
Agony
Last one to survive
Last one to breath
Last one to love
Last one to kill
Last one to die
One round
One moment
One tear
One beat left
You fall to the floor
Lifeless
They say he died for his country
But he told me he died for me
Seeks its journey
Through the crakes
Of the rough and dry land
Knowing it will be lost
Forever
The lost memory
Of those who walked there
With there combat boots
Digging into the ground
Making a shoe print
Not just any shoe print
But the one that got them killed

The cemetery's thoughts
This is where we lay
Under the old oak tree
In the cemetery we lay
Dreaming and longing for this moment to never fade
In the cemetery we sat
Gazing into each others eyes
Longing to know what out future lies
Leaning against your broad chest
Being cautious not to break your weekend heart
We lay in that cemetery
Holding on to each other with all the strength we had left
Not letting go never, never were we to do so
Breathing cautiously and slowly
Sinking heavily into the winters snow
Descending into a word that we knew could end in any moment
Knowing your last breath was in your eyes
Your shaggy brown hair
Hid under your favorite hat
Your shy blue eyes
Hid behind the sadness of your tears
I remember one cold December day
You took me to the old frozen lake
Where you used to sit and wait
For your father to come home
But he never came
That one cold December day
We sat there together hoping for
Something to happen
We sat there for hours, waiting for a miracle to happen
That day your father came home
But knowing only to say goodbye
Your perfect white teeth were shown that day
Your smile warmed my heart
Your eyes showed the love for me
Was true
And your hand that held mine told me you were never going to let go
You died that winter
You were buried under that old oak tree
I sit here with my arms wrapped around me
Shielding me from the cold
I wondered to myself why that moment had to end so soon
You were my best friend
You mended my broken heart
You brushed away the tears on my cheek
These days I cant seem to find my way out of bed
You were all I had
“I’m going to find a way to be with you once again, I promise”
Your last words, your last promise
Embrace my heart
I lay under the old oak tree
Next to your grave for the last time
I close my eyes and find your hand
I hold onto it with the love and trust that I have for you
I open my eyes to find you lying next to me
Your perfect white smile
Your shaggy hair still hiding
And your shy blue eyes gazing into mine
At that moment I knew you had found a way
A way to be with me once again
Under the old oak tree
In the cemetery we lay
Dreaming and longing for this moment to never fade
In the cemetery we sat
Gazing into each others eyes
Longing to know what out future lies

Carved Orange Lilies
A wild escapade through the
Carved orange lilies
We will take
Shade and light
Dreamers and unbelievers
Paradise
The sublime coordinates
Vacancy of my mind
Fill with scarlet waves of joy
Winter emerges
Football fields hide beneath the
Sheltering snow
Awakened by your touch
Footprints patterned on the beach
Phantom lovers
Retrace their naked steps
That leaves a scar in time
A million dollar heartbreak
Seeking new patterns
A helpful hand to collect the tears
Needing the warmth of ones touch
My mind is stagnant form the lack of sleep
Awakened by the jagged edge of a irregular heart beat
Dislocating the pattern of the past
Molding the foundation for the future
Contouring the beginning of the slippery slope
Leaving the rest for uncalculated events
Time dances by
Bringing new wings to my heart
I see him through the complex eyepiece
Of a sniper scope
Carved orange lilies
We will take
Shade and light
Dreamers and unbelievers
Paradise
