Instead of going to the mall
You will see her at a football game
Or challenging the guys to a match off
She loves the look on the guy’s faces when she shows them that she is just as good as them

She fears her week side
For all she knows is her strong and determined side
She fear’s that one-day people won’t care about her
Because she is the one who became week or useless

She is the strange one for loving the pain and the bruises
The pain that shoots through her knees does not stop her
For she pushes through the pain
For she knows there is something amazing waiting for her at the finish line

Fast passed
Never ending movement
Always running
Sometimes even spiriting
Jagged marks on the concrete sidewalk
Running is in my blood
But you have a way of slowing me down
You show me the beauty that exists in the world

The Young & Lonely Girl

Listening to music
Sitting by the window, waiting
For your arrival
But you do not appear
Nights go by
With three person meals
Time goes by
Sitting by the window
Turns into pacing
Then tears soon spill
Filling the small tunnels
In the soft carpet below
The trees turn red and fall lifelessly
To the untouched ground
Where you used to walk
I find myself humming the song

Before you left for a long vacation

My eyelids are too heavy to notice
